Established in 1984, what began as Jeanne Limmer’s vision for cultivating a creative space for
dance in the Valley has become a legacy shared by each teacher on staff. Offering a wide array
of classes for all ages and levels, we invite you to join us!
With our new studio name, Axis Dance Center, we proudly carry on the tradition of excellence
in dance as we pay homage to the studio’s longtime student company, Axis Dance Company.
Axis Dance Center is set apart by our devotion to training dancers as both artists and athletes.
In all classes, we encourage students to explore their unique creative impulse and connect with
the message of their dance. Our teaching staff is comprised of experienced teachers and
professional dancers who can provide the highest quality training in dance technique and
artistry to each and every student.
We are guided by our belief that dance enriches all lives and that all people should have access
to dance education, no matter ability, age or economic class. In the studio, we foster a culture
of support that helps our students to confidently take on new challenges and reach their
artistic potential.
