This scholarship is in memory of Katie Armstrong, a passionate dancer who tragically died of cancer in 2001 and is honored through each scholarship recipient. The scholarship is awarded each year to students who exhibit an interest in furthering their dance education. The scholarship also helps support children who illustrate a desire and a need for financial assistance to attend dance classes.
