Class Policies

Hair: Long hair should always be securely tied back and out of their face for all classes. Please
avoid barrettes, large clips or other bulky hair accessories, as they can get caught in clothing
or hurt when working on the floor.

Shoes and Attire:

 

Creative Movement: Any dance attire that the student can move freely in. Ballet and tap shoes
with their names in them.

 

Combination Classes: Solid color leotard and white, tan or pink tights OR tight leggings. Ballet
shoes and tap shoes with their names on them. No skirts or tutus. Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combo
class should also have black or tan jazz shoes.

 

Ballet: Solid color leotard and white, tan or pink tights OR tight leggings. Ballet shoes.

 

Modern: Leotard with dance pants. Bare feet.

 

Hip Hop: Dance pants and any top the student can move freely in. Sneakers that are clean and
are reserved for indoor, dance use.

 

Jazz: Leotard and any dance pants or shorts students can move freely in. Black or tan jazz
shoes or turners.

 

Tap: Any dance wear that the student can move freely in. Black tap shoes.

 

Tumbling: Leotard and leggings or bike shorts. Students must be able to go upside-down
comfortably in their clothing. Bare feet.

 

No jewelry please.

 

Additional items to bring to class: A full water bottle. A snack if the student has more than one
class (no peanuts.)
