Dance Classes for Every Student Ages 3 and Up!
At Axis Dance Center, we offer
Classes Offered by Age:

Pre-School / Ages 3 to 5: Creative Movement

Ages 5-7 (Level 1): Ballet/Tap Combo Class, Tumbling*

Ages 7-9: (Level 2): Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combo Class, Modern, Hip Hop, Tumbling*
-
Ages 8-11 (Level 3): Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tumbling*

Ages 12 and up (Level 4): Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tumbling*
-
Ages 12 and up (Advanced Level/Company Electives): Hip Hop, Jazz, Pointe, and Tumbling*

Axis Dance Company (12 and up accepted by audition): Modern, Ballet, Jazz Technique (Leaps& Turns), Conditioning, and Masterclasses/Company Rehearsals
*Tumbling classes are assigned by level.

Beginner: No experience required.

Intermediate: Strong cartwheel required.

Advanced: Strong handstands, cartwheels and back walk-overrequired (if you are 12 or up and have strong handstands and cartwheels, you are welcome inthis class even if you don’t have your back walk-over yet.)
RECITAL: All classes will make and perform a dance for our recital each spring. Combo classes will have more than one dance (one for each style.) Our recital will be on a weekend at the endof May at the Kennett High School Auditorium with professional lighting and sound.
BEFORE REGISTERING, please contact the studio to confirm the appropriate level of classes for your child or attend our Open House Registration Day.
OPEN HOUSE REGISTRATION DAY: Saturday Aug 29 9 am to 1pm. Tour the studios, meet the teachers, and sign up for classes!
