February is Fitness Month!!
We are offering some great opportunities for Adult Fitness Classes. If the interest continues, so will the classes!! Plus, we now have daytime drop-in child care, so that opens up some great opportunities to get fit!!! Child care times: from 8 am to 6 pm Monday – Friday. Saturday upon request.

Here’s the February deal: Any adult class $6.00 or 10 class fitness card for $40.00!! The regular price was: “Drop in-$7.00 and fitness card at $60.00”. We are making it easy to “Slim down and Tone-up”.

We are now offering Off-Track Dance & fun Activity classes:

Dance Company/Drill Team Prep Course: First Session Starts February 4th.

Axis Dance Center is now offering a preparation course for students looking to try out for their high schools Dance Company or Drill Team. This course will be taught by an Axis Dance Center Instructor who has been on both Dance Company, Drill Team and has 15 yrs of dance experience. During each Session, the instructor will focus on specific techniques and skills that are used by Dance Companies and Drill Teams. These classes will also focus on improving skills such as double and triple classical or jazz pirouettes, fouette turns and stage presence.

• Students must be between the ages of 14 to 17
• Must have 2-3 yrs of dance experience
• Be at an intermediate or advanced level of dance
• $60.00 fee per Session, paid in advance.
• Each course runs for 5 weeks. Students may take the course more than once.
• Students must have proper dance attire

Blaine Senior, master tap dancer, performer, choreographer, and Las Vegas Headliner, has moved to Utah!!

He will be teaching master classes at Axis!!  This is a great opportunity for our students to learn at the feet of one of the great ones!!. Blaine has performed all over the world. Singing and dancing side by side with greats like Donald O’Conner, Gregory Hines, Tap Dogs, The Radio City Rockettes, David Cassidy, Wayne Brady and Broadway legend Nell Carter.

Blaine is known as the “Fastest Tap Dancer in Las Vegas”. He performed as a featured act in the Copa Room, MGM, the Aladdin Hotel, and many others. Over 20 years of professional show business was in such places as: New York, L.A., Japan, Korea, and Europe. During the 25 years of teaching he trained many of today’s professionals: Brendan Bell (Pirates of the Caribbean III), Clifton Brown (Alvin Ailey 1st Co.) Jason Young (Bring in the Funk on Broadway), Shannon Beach (Circus with the Stars) and Meaghan Jett Martin (Camp Rock, Disney channel Star).

We are excited to have him share his talent and expertise with us!! Not only will he be teaching master classes, plans are for Drama/Musical Theater Summer Camp, times and dates for camp and master classes are still pending his active schedule…but plan for great things in March, April May and Summer!! Be on the look out for killer shizzle classes!!

STOMP CLASS: you won’t need tap shoes, just bring your rhythm!!

GLEE CLASS: Just like the TV show, dancing, singing, and performing!!
